The October 2023 Member Meeting is a great chance to engage with other Society members. Non-members are also welcome!
TOPIC: Raindrops to Rainbows
SPEAKER: Allison Joyce, MOBOT
REFRESHMENTS: “Fall Favorite” snacks
Allison Joyce is the Sustainability Programs Coordinator at the Earthways Center of MOBOT. She will be sharing information about the benefits of rainwater management, including rainscaping and rain gardening. These techniques direct and filter rainwater where it falls, as nature intended. Allison will show us how easily we can do our part to conserve our fresh water resources through combinations of plantings, water features, catch basins, and permeable pavement. You won’t want to miss this!
By joining the St. Louis Water Garden Society, you help grow our community of water gardeners, share knowledge, and promote appreciation of water gardens throughout our region. Our organization is responsible for the care and keeping of the famous Jewel Box Lily Ponds in Forest Park. Members are encouraged to renew their commitment to our Society each year so that we can continue our mission.
